Capel & Capel is a family-run fine art dealership based in Kampen, The Netherlands, specialising in Dutch Old Master paintings, 19th-century paintings, Oriental ceramics, and antique furniture. The business was founded in 1902 by Grandfather Gerrit and has been passed down through four generations of the same family.

## About the gallery

Capel & Capel buys and sells museum-quality works authenticated by leading experts. The gallery advises private collectors and institutions worldwide and has handled works by artists including Ludolf Backhuysen, Barent Gael, Abraham Toorenvliet, and Klaes Molenaer. Oriental inventory includes Chinese export porcelain, Japanese Arita, Imari, Kakiemon ware, Cloisonné, and Miyao bronzes from the Meiji period.
