Additional Information

 A lacquered sandan jubako box consisting of three trays on a base and with a lid. The trays are decorated with butterflies in raised silver- and gold lacquer (takamakie) and some sprinkled nashiji-lacquer. The lid decorated with a design of peony flowers in raised takamakie-lacquer and gold flakes (hirame). The jubako fit in a five sided box with openwork panels at each side, the box is all over decorated with a carved designs of peony flowers in silver- and gold makie-lacquer.
